Unit Rostering
A user can now roster personnel onto their vehicle from Tablet Command if the feature is configured for the customer account. The crew that is rostered can also be written back to CAD if that is supported by the customer's two way implementation. Please contact your sales representative for more details about this new feature.
Hide Location
Users can now hide and show their locations from Tablet Command and TC Mobile if given the necessary permissions by an account admin or an agency admin. The setting is in the User Preferences menu as shown below.
Transport Mileage
Tablet Command can now track transport distance and report the mileage back to CAD as a call comment, as part of the status change to At Hospital, or both as a comment and status change. The user is also given the opportunity to manually update the transport distance. If manually updated, both the calculated distance and the user's edit will be recorded. This calculation is done on device and works with or without connectivity as well as when Tablet Command is not running in the foreground. Please contact support@tabletcommand.com for more details.
Building Orientation Marker/Point Coordinates
The user managing an incident can now add building orientation markers to the map to clearly delineate the sides of the structure as it is being managed. This feature will help ensure that all responding crews are clear on what the Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta sides of a building are for that particular call. When long pressing on the map to add the orientation markers (and other map items) the user will see the coordinates of that point and be able to copy them to quickly share with other resources. The long press for coordinates feature is available to all users with a long press on the map view of an incident.
